The interior of the MGB GT

rattgearfI have been busy refurbishing the interior of my 1973 MGB GT. I removed the ugly nylon seat covers and replaced them with biscuit coloured leather seats in the front and vinyl seats of the same colour in the back. The car had carpets in three different colours, some of them looking like rags. Dark blue carpets came in instead. The too-big steering wheel in black was replaced by a much smaller one in wood. The gear knob in walnut was mounted to go with the wheel.
Now time has come to do some upgrades on the mechanical parts of the car.

  1. She’s really a beauty, and what a joy to drive, I’m sure. The wood touches on the interior, as well as the leather seat covers and dark blue carpet really look classy… which is the way a “classic” should look! Nice work… L
