Oslo Diary October 29th

I woke up to this seasons first snow in Oslo. Not much, but enough to trigger the playfulness in some people! This image was taken from my balcony this morning. Someone took an extra round.
Today I am thinking about my American friends on the east coast, Johannes Worsøe Berg in New York and Liz and Dallas Jones in Cape Cod. The storm is closing in, but I hope everything will be good with them.

  1. Thanks for the good wishes, old friend. Looks like the worst of the storm will hit south of Cape Cod (New York, Washington), so your friend Johannes may be in for it. Predictions here are for high winds (up to 70-80 mph) and rain (only half an inch) for two days. We will lose power, almost certainly, but it’s not very cold. We had our big trees thinned out last month (so all the leaves don’t act as a sail), and we’re .75 miles from the coast, so flooding should not be a problem. Gud bevare oss alle!
