The strange ways of a cat

Shumshu, my cat, demonstrates that he has some strange interests. When I receive one of those letters from some authority, the kind that has no envelope, but a piece of paper you have to tear open on three sides to read, Shumshu comes running. He recognizes the sound. Playtime, his eyes shine. Because he loves to play with the part that is torn off, the part that I am throwing away, anyway (almost lyrical, this, eh?). This “toy” is more interesting than his real toys. It is almost like some children are more interested in the box their toys were packed in, than the toy itself. Well, here he is at it…
